Rookie Tennis-5 week session at Breitenstine Park
Ages 3-4: June 14-July 12, Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 p.m. $70 per child
Ages 5-6: June 14-July 12, Wednesdays 6:30-7:15 p.m. $70 per child
Registration closes Monday, June 5, 2023. (Minimum of 8 participants to run the class.)
Rookie Tennis is focused on the refinement of the basic skills with additional challenges for intermediate players. Participants will learn the fundamentals including serving, stroke technique (forehand and backhand) and progress into short rallies. Taught by instructors from Rookie Sports Club.
Rookie Basketball-5 week session at Tuscora Park
Ages 4-6: June 15-July 13, Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 p.m. $70 per child
Ages 7-9: June 15-July 13, Wednesdays 6:30-7:15 p.m. $70 per child

Rookie Basketball provides children with a fun and educational first basketball experience? Players are taught the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defense and the concept of game play. Each week players participate in developmentally appropriate instruction and modified, recreational game play. Taught by instructors from Rookie Sports Club.
Flag Football
3-4 yr. old Division Play begins July 24 First Game: Sunday, August 19 $50/resident, $60/non-resident
K-1st Grade Division Play begins July 24 September 11 (Tournament Week) $60/resident, $70/non-resident
Get involved with Barberton's premier youth flag football program! Kids aged 3-4 and grades K-1st are encouraged to sign up and play! This is a community based turnkey program that provides all youth the opportunity to play in an organized non-contact flag football league. Every player will receive a reversible jersey. Coaches child plays for free (1 per team).
Registration deadline is Monday, July 10, 2023. Practices: Teams will practice once or twice a week at the coaches designated field.
Pop-up Field Trips
Ages 6-10 may register to join us for a pop-up field trip. More information on the trips, dates and cost is available on the Amilia.com store.
Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals (What's SUP Lake Anna)
Have you wanted to try one of the fastest growing water sports/activity, Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)? Here is your chance to try this water activity on Lake Anna!
Registration is open, reserve your spot today on the amilia registration software.
If you would like to participate,
- Ages 10 & up
- Sign up for the time you would like to attend (*each time slot is limited to 8 people)
- Bring your driver's license
- *Please arrive at your scheduled time, so you may get fitted for a life vest/receive instruction/have time on the water*
- Come dressed in water attire, swimsuit, etc...
- Bring a towel, water bottle and sunscreen.
You will come to the Visitor Center Building to sign the waiver, you will give your ID to a staff person who will get you fitted for a life vest (unless you would like to bring your own, must be USCG Approved).
You will get 10-15 mins of instruction and information from a certified Level 1 standup paddle board instructor(s) and 35-40 mins of on-water stand up paddle boarding time on Lake Anna.
*This is a weather permitting activity. If the weather causes the activity to cancel, you will receive a phone call from a staff member who may you switch to another date or receive a reimbursement.*
