Barberton Labor Day and Music Festival - Saturday, August 31

Paper Shredding Event-Saturday, September 14:  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

ReWorks is offering a FREE confidential shredding event, open to Summit County residents and businesses at the Barberton Community Foundation Sports Complex , 841 Wooster Rd. W.  Summit County residents are invited to bring up to 10 file boxes or shopping bags of documents.  Participants are asked to remove and reuse binder clips, rubber bands, hanging file folders, binders, paperclips, report covers and plastic items.  Staples are fine.  All shredded documents will be recycled into new products.  For more information, please visit:  http://www.summitreworks.com/ or call 330-374-0383.

Jeep Davis 5K Mum Run and Walk-Saturday, September 21:  8:30 a.m.

The run pays homage to the legacy of legendary US Olympian 3 time Gold Medal winner Glenn "Jeep" Davis, along with some cool updates.  The race route will remain the same as 2018 but be reversed and will start at the Jeep Davis statue and end near the Mum gardens on 3rd St. NW.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 8:30 a.m.  Participants will receive an 8" potted mum, choose a dry fit t-shirt, or no race shirt ($3 discount).  All proceeds benefit the youth sports in our community.  Registration may be done online:  https://ohiochallengeseries.enmotive.com/events/register/2019-jeep-davis-memorial-5k

29th Annual Mum Festival-Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29 :  10:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.

Enjoy the beautiful chrysanthemums along with family entertainment, arts & crafts, food, water ski shows, kids activities and more!

Fall Family Fun Night-Saturday, October 12:  4-7 p.m.

Fall fun with hayrides, face painting,inflatables and food available for purchase.  Held at the BCF Sports Complex.

Lake Anna Park Holiday Lighting-Saturday, November 30:  6:00 p.m.

Winter Wonderland Festival:  4:00 - 8:00 p.m. For more information on the festival:  https://www.barbertonareajaycees.com/wwl-home 

Beginning, November 30 and continuing through January 1, lights are turned on at 5:00 p.m. daily and remain on until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday evenings, and until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays.  Lake Anna Park is located at 615 W. Park Avenue in Barberton.
